The Drogheda Indian Association (DMA) was established in 2006 by a small group of friends with a shared vision—to promote and celebrate Indian culture in Drogheda Town. What began as a close-knit community initiative has since grown into a vibrant, dynamic organization that hosts cultural programs with participants from across Europe.
Rooted deeply in Indian traditions, DMA is committed to preserving and showcasing the rich cultural heritage of India while fostering integration within Irish society. Our events bring together people of all backgrounds, creating a space where cultural exchange, friendship, and unity thrive.
Over the years, DMA has become a proud pillar of the Indian community in Ireland, organizing festivals, dance, sports and music performances, educational workshops, and social gatherings that celebrate diversity and togetherness. As we continue to grow, we remain dedicated to serving our community and strengthening the cultural bridge between India and Ireland.
